DWH Microsoft Developer (SSAS & MDX) Any

Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, one of the leading financial institutions in Zurich, we are looking for a DWH Microsoft Developer (SSAS) to support a key strategic project providing Standard Reporting and Self Service BI capabilities to the business.

This is an one year contract with potential to get permanent.

Main responsibilities

• Work on Business Information Reporting Application within a scaled agile project team
• Participate in delivering software changes to the stakeholders and support the application in production
• Cross-border collaboration with team members and project management in Zurich

Your skills:

• 8+ years of experience in working with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence projects
• Extensive knowledge of SSAS
• MS SQL: detailed knowledge in MS SQL partitioning, column store, large volumes of data (TBs)
• Experience with relational, dimensional, multi-dimensional and OLAP techniques & technology
• Good understanding of Microsoft BI suite (SSIS and SQL Server)
• Experience with interfaces such as TOAD, TeamCity and SQL Developer
• Exposure to evolving concepts in MS BI 2019 will be preferred (Power BI, Column Store, Tabular Model, etc)
• Virtual technologies
• Experience of using JIRA
• SAFe or other scaled agile experience
• Proven knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Strong knowledge of MDX, ADO, .NET, XMLA
• Proficiency in developing Cubes using SSAS, and developing reports using SSRS
• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or similar
• Financial industry knowledge is a plus
• Fluency in English
